Plasterboard - Measure space - Measure and cut - (Brick- Plasterboard adhesive) - (Timber Stud - Drywall Screws - Plaster Board should not be bouncy after either process, get plasterboard edges to cross or land on firm backgrounds (timber) Plasterboard adhesive spread evenly in lumps, like a dice style or domino and edges covered or mostly.

Browning - Thickness of Browning Mix should be easy to move around but does not run or move by itself, it is stiff but your trowel can push through it with ease, fill your patch or cover your area and use a long straight edge to remove the excess, apply more where necessary.

Finish Plaster Steps

Scrim tape plaster board edges and joins for strength and to stop plasterboard cracking - apply PVA unibond to dry browning or old dry plaster - mix up finish plaster, plasterboard finish or multi finish and other finishes the first coat so it is easy to move but it does not drip or run - using your trowel, apply about 2 mm- 3 mm thick layer to your area, using your towel again flatten out lines when plaster has firmed up a bit, plasterboard finish usually firms up around 20 mins after mixing- mix up second coat and apply another layer 1 mm - 2 mm thick - Flatten with trowel when firm again, 10-20 minutes after mixing second coat - when even firmer, when your finger barely leaves a mark when you gently push on it, then apply a tiny bit of water with a soft 5 inch brush, brush over about 1 sq meter and then use your trowel to flatten again, you will now have a very smooth surface great for painting, you can polish it with your trowel a little bit, no water just dry trowel but this can ruin your nice surface if you don't know what you doing.
